Trim Levels (Exterior)
Five trim levels are available in the 2025 Hyundai SANTA FE. The SE trim has 18-inch alloy wheels, LED exterior lighting, LED daytime running lights, high beam assist, heated side mirrors, and a hands-free smart liftgate. The SEL trim includes the LED turn signal on the side mirrors and roof rails for extra cargo capacity. The off-road-focused XRT features 18-inch dark-finish alloy wheels, all-terrain tires, and blacked-out exterior trim. The Limited trim has 20-inch alloy wheels, a glass sunroof, and power-folding side mirrors. The top-of-the-range Calligraphy has 21-inch dark-finish alloy wheels and black anodized “H” logos and SANTA FE badging.
Engine (Power)
A turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine powers the 2025 Hyundai SANTA FE, generating 277 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. It features an eight-speed wet dual-clutch transmission with SHIFTRONIC technology, ensuring smooth and efficient gear changes.
Performance
The 2025 Hyundai SANTA FE optimizes performance and fuel efficiency. The front-wheel-drive 2.5-liter engine gets 20 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. The HTRAC all-wheel drive is available on all trim levels but reduces highway fuel economy to 28 mpg. The XRT cuts city and highway fuel economy to 19 mpg and 26 mpg, respectively. All trim levels have Drive Mode Select, allowing drivers to choose comfort, smart, sport, and snow settings. A towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds — 4,500 pounds for the XRT — with trailer brakes and sway control makes it a competent hauler.
Interior
With seating for up to five passengers, the 2025 Hyundai SANTA FE offers ample space for passengers and cargo. All trim levels come standard with high-powered USB charge ports, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and an external temperature display. The Calligraphy trim has quilted Nappa leather seating, second-row captain's chairs, and heated front and rear seats. The Bose premium audio system with 12 speakers is standard in the Limited and Calligraphy models.
