Heated side mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators, roof side rails, chrome beltline molding, and a shark-fin antenna enhance the SEL and SEL Convenience variants. The N Line and N Line S boast 19-inch N Line design alloy wheels, N Line-specific front and rear fascias, a twin tip exhaust, gloss black side mirrors, N Line badges, and body-color cladding. A 1.6-liter turbo gasoline direct injection four-cylinder is standard on the N Line S, N Line, and Limited. FWD N Line, N Line S, and Limited trims get 26 mpg city/32 mpg highway/28 mpg combined, and AWD versions achieve 24 mpg city/29 mpg highway/26 mpg combined. The KONA's standard suspension system includes a MacPherson strut front suspension. AWD models have a multi-link rear suspension, and FWD models utilize a torsion beam rear suspension.
